nablet Releases Multiplatform IMF SDK

AACHEN, Germany – June 27, 2017 – nablet, a leading provider of media processing technologies, announced today that it has released version 1.0 of its IMF SDK. The multiplatform software development kit includes tools for muxing and de-muxing of IMF files.

The Interoperable Master Format (IMF) is a SMPTE standard for the file-based interchange of content with multiple versions. It evolved from digital cinema, and is growing rapidly in popularity among broadcasters, OTT providers and many other content-centric businesses.

The nablet IMF SDK includes a sample application to generate IMF-compliant XML for existing MXF files. An additional sample shows demuxing of an IMF packing list, and remixing MXF to IMF.

“We are proud to be one of the first in the market to offer a multi-platform IMF SDK,” said Muzaffer Beygirci, CEO of nablet. “The new SDK is the perfect extension of our popular MXF tools, enabling our customers to build next-generation applications for their customers today.”
