AACHEN, Germany – July 2, 2018 – nablet, a leading provider of media analysis and processing technologies, announced today that it has released MOV2MXF, a tool for converting MOV (.mov) files into MXF. It is not a transcoder, instead it remuxes the audio and video content from a MOV to MXF container.
Available for Windows and macOS, MOV2MXF is two programs in one: a user-friendly graphical app and a command line / console tool. It is powered by the nablet MXF SDK, and is the latest in a comprehensive suite of MXF tools from nablet. Like the SDK, the new converter supports a wide variety of popular standards and formats, updated frequently to meet industry requirements.
Supported presets include:
- XDCAM HD
- DV/DVCPRO HD
“We are proud to continue expanding our MXF product lineup,” said nablet CEO Muzaffer Beygirci. “Most of our products come to life as a result of customer requests. We are happy to give our clients the high-quality tools they need, backed by our excellent support.”
A key advantage of nablet MXF technology is the ability to open and remux large files quickly. In today’s workflows there are many time-critical requirements. nablet reduced processing time with ultra-fast demuxing and avoiding transcoding where possible, as often a simple remux and repair is enough (rather than a full transcode).
MOV2MXF is available for US$99. Each license is good for both platforms.
Demo versions and purchase link are available at www.nablet.com/mov2mxf.
